The Real Reason Wheat is Toxic

The Real Reason Wheat is Toxic (It’s Not the Gluten)

(excerpts)

The stories became far too frequent to ignore. Emails from folks with allergic or digestive issues to wheat in the United States experienced no symptoms whatsoever when they tried eating pasta on vacation in Italy.

Confused parents wondering why wheat consumption sometimes triggered autoimmune reactions in their children but not at other times.

In my own home, I’ve long pondered why my husband can eat the wheat I prepare at home, but he experiences negative digestive effects eating even a single roll in a restaurant.

There is clearly something going on with wheat that is not well known by the general public.

The good news is that the reason wheat has become so toxic in the United States is not because it is secretly GMO as I had feared (thank goodness!).

The bad news is that the problem lies with the manner in which wheat is grown and harvested by conventional wheat farmers.

You’re going to want to sit down for this one. I’ve had some folks burst into tears in horror when I passed along this information before.

Common wheat harvest protocol in the United States is to drench the wheat fields with Roundup several days before the combine harvesters work through the fields as the practice allows for an earlier, easier and bigger harvest

Pre-harvest application of the herbicide Roundup or other herbicides containing the deadly active ingredient glyphosate to wheat and barley as a desiccant was suggested as early as 1980.

It has since become routine over the past 15 years and is used as a drying agent 7-10 days before harvest within the conventional farming community.

Roundup significantly disrupts the functioning of beneficial bacteria in the gut and contributes to permeability of the intestinal wall and consequent expression of autoimmune disease symptoms

In synergy with disruption of the biosynthesis of important amino acids via the shikimate pathway, glyphosate inhibits the cytochrome P450 (CYP) enzymes produced by the gut microbiome.

CYP enzymes are critical to human biology because they detoxify the multitude of foreign chemical compounds, xenobiotics, that we are exposed to in our modern environment today.

As a result, humans exposed to glyphosate through use of Roundup in their community or through ingestion of its residues on industrialized food products become even more vulnerable to the damaging effects of other chemicals and environmental toxins they encounter!

What’s worse is that the negative impact of glyphosate exposure is slow and insidious over months and years as inflammation gradually gains a foothold in the cellular systems of the body.

Zika Virus Infection

(excerpt)

Zika fever is a mosquito-borne viral disease caused by Zika virus (ZIKV), consisting of mild fever, rash (mostly maculo-papular), headaches, arthralgia, myalgia, asthenia, and non-purulent conjunctivitis, occurring about two to seven days after the mosquito vector bite. One out of four people may develop symptoms, but in those who are affected the disease is usually mild with symptoms that can last between two and seven days. Its clinical manifestation is often similar to dengue, also a mosquito-borne illness.

GM Mosquitoes Set To Be Released In Brazil To Combat Dengue

(article from July 23, 2014)
(excerpt)

Oxitec’s solution is an advancement of SIT, which involves the insertion of a lethal gene into male mosquitoes that prevents them from being able to successfully reproduce. Although the insects are not truly sterile, they can be considered sterile because they die before reaching sexual maturity. Released “sterile” males will therefore seek out females to mate with, competing with wild males, and the resultant progeny will contain the lethal gene and therefore die before they can mate. If a sufficient number of mosquitoes are released, the females will be more likely to find a “sterile” male, and a substantial drop in population can be achieved in a remarkably short period. The flight range of dengue mosquitoes is also around only 200 yards and they’re restricted to urban areas, making it easy to control populations with this technique as “zones” of release can be established to ensure sufficient area coverage.

The sophisticated yet simple system also involves the insertion of a fluorescent tag called DsRed that allows careful monitoring of mosquito populations after initial release; a “track and trace” system, says Hadyn Parry, CEO of Oxitec. This means population control can be maintained over time through repeat release, which will be guided by monitoring fluorescent mosquito levels. The technique doesn’t necessarily eliminate mosquito populations; rather it keeps them at such a low levels that disease transmission no longer occurs.

Italian courts rule Vaccines cause Autism

U.S. Media Blackout: Italian Courts Rule Vaccines Cause Autism

(excerpts)

On September 23, 2014, an Italian court in Milan award compensation to a boy for vaccine-induced autism. (See the Italian document here.) A childhood vaccine against six childhood diseases caused the boy’s permanent autism and brain damage.

The Italian infant plaintiff received three doses of GlaxoSmithKline’s Infanrix Hexa, a hexavalent vaccine administered in the first year of life. These doses occurred from March to October 2006. The vaccine is to protect children from polio, diphtheria, tetanus, hepatitis B, pertussis and Haemophilus influenza type B. In addition to these antigens, however, the vaccine then contained thimerosal, the mercury-containing preservative, aluminum, an adjuvant, as well as other toxic ingredients. The child regressed into autism shortly after receiving the three doses.

Based on expert medical testimony, the court concluded that the child more likely than not suffered autism and brain damage because of the neurotoxic mercury, aluminum and his particular susceptibility from a genetic mutation. The Court also noted that Infanrix Hexa contained thimerosal, now banned in Italy because of its neurotoxicity, “in concentrations greatly exceeding the maximum recommended levels for infants weighing only a few kilograms.”

Two years earlier, on May 23, 2012, Judge Lucio Ardigo of an Italian court in Rimini presided over a similar judgment, finding that a different vaccine, the Measles-Mumps-Rubella vaccine (MMR), had caused a child’s autism. As in the Milan case, the Ministry of Health’s compensation program had denied compensation to the family, yet after a presentation of medical evidence, a court granted compensation. There, too, the Italian press covered the story; the U.S. press did not.

In that case, a 15-month old boy received his MMR vaccine on March 26, 2004. He then immediately developed bowel and eating problems and received an autism diagnosis with cognitive delay within a year. The court found that the boy had “been damaged by irreversible complications due to vaccination (with trivalent MMR).” The decision flew in the face of the conventional mainstream medical wisdom that an MMR-autism link has been “debunked.”

Ancient and Modern Gnosticism

Ancient and Modern Gnosticism

(Excerpts)

…it was the discovery of a cache of ancient Gnostic scriptures at Nag Hammadi in the Egyptian desert in 1945 that really set off the modern phase of the Gnostic revival.

Although their translation into English was not complete until the late 1970s, early access to some of the writings inspired the great psychologist Carl Jung to draw parallels between the ancient Gnostics and modern depth psychology.

The publication in 1977 of the Nag Hammadi Librarytranslations, followed in 1978 by religious scholar Elaine Pagels’ best-selling exposition, The Gnostic Gospels, guaranteed that Gnosticism would not go away anytime soon.

Christian aspirations to a universal faith, applicable to anyone with ears to hear, led many Gnostics to posit that God the Father, of whom Jesus spoke, must be a different God altogether: a hitherto Unknown God Who existed far above the earthly realm and was free of ethnic contracts or favouritism.

Christ functioned as the messenger from this remote and impartial God, and some Gnostic scriptures downgraded the Jealous God of the Old Testament to the role of Demiurge, a lesser creator-god who brought a flawed Creation into existence and mistakenly ruled it with a heavy hand as if he were the True God.1

Thus, in the Gnostic view, salvation from this diminished material realm of suffering and injustice depended less on one’s mere beliefs or on the following of religious laws that the Demiurge put in place, than on the individual’s inner experience of gnosis – a divine knowledge of the cosmic order and one’s true identity.

The Gnostic scriptures alluded to Christ’s secret teachings, which would aid the Gnostic to embrace gnosis, and armed with this knowledge, to escape the illusory realm of the Demiurge at the time of death.

The most common Gnostic revision of the Creation story spoke of Sophia (Wisdom), an extension of the True God, venturing forth from the Pleroma (the fullness of the ineffable divine realm), producing an aborted spiritual being, Ialdobaoth (the Demiurge), who in turn created the flawed material world.

Sophia, seeing sparks of the divine entrapped in matter, descended to try and free them and was herself entrapped.

It took the efforts of the Christ (pre-existing in the Pleroma) to extricate her and return her, past the Archons presiding over intermediate planes, to her rightful place beside Him: a tale symbolic of the plight of the soul enmeshed in illusion.

Finally, the indications in Gnostic scriptures, such as the Gospel of Philip and the Gospel of Mary, that Mary Magdalene was closer to Jesus than the other disciples and received secret teachings denied to them, undercut both St. Paul’s misogynist version of Christianity and the Catholic Church’s claim to legitimacy based on St. Peter’s supposed selection as the “rock” on which the Church would be built.

The prominent role given to the Divine Feminine via the Gnostic veneration of the Magdalene and Sophia was partly recuperated by the Roman Church through the significance it later afforded the Virgin Mary, but this status was subsumed within the overall supremacy of a Church run by celibate males.

In ripping away the façade of normality, we come face to face with our true dilemma – we live in a maze of illusions and self-delusions from which we must extricate ourselves. This is, of course, a fundamentally Gnostic worldview.

The ancient Gnostics were aware that material existence is, at its root, a beguiling and temporary illusion. (Hindus called this “Maya”).

Modern physics has confirmed this at the sub-molecular level, where one can see that apparently solid objects are, in fact, composed of moving bits of energy that are neither wholly particle nor wave. The closer one looks, the less there is to see. The vast emptiness of outer space is mirrored by the vast emptiness within matter itself.

Esoteric traditions around the world teach that consciousness can exist independent of the body, and that the ability to deliver our consciousness from its addiction to sensory input and compulsive thought patterns can lead to an experience of divine consciousness (gnosis).

The message of the Christ of the Gnostics was not that he considered himself the unique and only Son of God, but that each person has the potential to expand their consciousness across the vast emptiness to the level of godhood or Self-realisation.

If the illusoriness of daily life was self-evident in the relatively simple world of two millennia ago, it is becoming even more so, for those with the eyes to see, in the present world of cybernetic virtual realities, Hollywood dream-worlds, instant messaging, corporate branding campaigns, and information warfare.

The Light in the Darkness

November 25, 2014

The-Shadow-Knows

The Light in the Darkness

(Excerpts)

It is startling how human beings rarely if ever achieve a lasting enlightenment. We may catch a glimpse of illumination, yet it is a fleeting epiphany that fades as the speeding luminosity of a falling star. It is lost and forgotten amidst the relentless shower of diversions our society provides. We allow the distractions to consume the quality and power of our lives. We surrender to our personalized confusion with our lack of interest in creating them. This is the ultimate darkness. Not one that waits for its perfect moment to influence, command, embezzle and seize our energy. It is one that we enable with our attitude, behavior, entitlement and emotional drama. We sustain our own darkness with the conditions and restrictions we apply to our lives. Our darkness is the measure of our human potential unattained and unexpressed.

Soul Persuasion:

We have been conditioned to live almost exclusively from our mind and body. We exist within a social paradigm commonly adopted as “reality,” primarily steeped in left-brain activity and interaction. Much as the fish that swims in water not seeing the limitations of its existence, we too are chained to the invisible boundaries of a manufactured lifestyle. This is one way we align ourselves with negative energy. We allow the darkness into our lives with our silence, selfishness, disinterest and the anesthetizing of our sensibilities. We become vulnerable to the chaotic, lower frequencies we tend to perceive as “evil.” These dark forces attempt to transmute our energetic signatures into a form easier to control, conquer and consume.

We witness the evidence of evil in society on a daily basis. It is reflected in human behavior with war, destruction, genocide, inequality and injustice. Darkness thrives in the malevolence of murder, rape, domestic violence, character assassination and the tradition of competition found primarily in politics, business and sports. These attributes of human existence run rampant around the globe. They bombard us with such frequency, impact and effect that we become desensitized to their horrors. Yet, evil is not the monster under the bed or the demon in the darkness. It is not an existential entity that preys upon our apathy, unconsciousness and fear. It is we who sacrifice our personal power by the quality of our thoughts, behaviors, actions and emotional and energetic expression. These traits expose us to negative energies that become hate, anger, vengeance, selfishness and cruelty. Eventually, we render ourselves susceptible to these dark influences and they become our nature. We become a conduit of darkness

Darkness is so clever; it uses our own effort, energy and life force against us to further its agenda. It exploits our ego as a channel to silently and constantly influence us toward choices and actions that go against our reason, free will, common sense and intuition. The more we are aware of our darkness and its impression upon us, the more we are able to utilize it instead of the contrary. After all, it is a powerful facet of our being. It is ever present, no matter how much we attempt to avoid or deny its existence. We can transform this expression of our being into a positive force that benefits our lives. It is simply our perceptual fear of the raw, unknown power of our darkness that intimidates, weakens and immobilizes us. We hand our power over to what may be, not what is. With every fearful breath we draw, our connection with darkness strengthens and the fulfillment of our destiny wanes.

We are incapable of sustaining a capacity of being-ness for enlightenment. Our lives are lived ever striving to become something that we can only be in spirit. Perhaps this is the great mystery of life. It has been said that the most powerful light is harvested from the greatest darkness. Within this darkness there is only one thing that awaits us, our fear with which we react to the unknown. Fear is the demon we all must face. When we do, what once looked like a monster suddenly becomes a masterpiece of being when we see it for what it really is. An illusion of existential authority enabled subconsciously by the power of our own fear. It is an opportunity to draw strength from the deepest recesses of our being. The meaning of life isn’t to become enlightened. It is to free ourselves from the devices of our own darkness. It is to face and transform the only darkness that truly exists, our own.

Solar flare: The sun touches our psyche

(excerpts)

Maybe it is time to wear tin foil on our heads. With high electromagnetic activity from the sun coming this way, our human electromagnetic fields may start glowing.

Even if we do not begin incandescing, scientists have noticed correlations between solar flares and moods.

Solar Effects

From 1948 to 1997, the Institute of North Industrial Ecology Problems in Russia found that geomagnetic activity showed three seasonal peaks each of those years (March to May, in July, and in October). Every peak matched an increased incidence of anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and suicide in the city Kirovsk.

One explanation for the correlation is that solar storms desynchronize our circadian rhythm (biological clock). The pineal gland in our brain is affected by the electromagnetic activity.

This causes the gland to produce excess melatonin, and melatonin is the brain’s built in “downer” that helps us sleep.

“The circadian regulatory system depends on repeated environmental cues to [synchronize] internal clocks,” says psychiatrist Kelly Posner, Columbia University. “Magnetic fields may be one of these environmental cues.”

Psychological effects of CMEs (coronal mass ejections) are typically short lived and include headache, palpitations, mood swings, and feeling generally unwell. Chaotic or confused thinking, and erratic behaviors also increase. Since Tuesday’s solar flare was a double-whammy, it will be interesting to see whether reports of physical disturbances are more intense or more plentiful than during single solar plasma blasts.

Since humans are physically, mentally, and emotionally altered by electromagnetic charges from the sun, it makes you wonder how the bombardment of particles from digital devices affects us on daily basis. All this leads one to think that it might be time to break out the tin foil, but since my cats are not acting any more demanding or nuttier than usual, we are most likely OK.

However, don’t be surprised if next new “plea” in our legal system turns out to be: not guilty by reason of electromagnetic disruption.

*Reincarnation, Karma & Destiny

(excerpts)

When not incarnated into the physical realms, each of us exists in an energetic state which many refer to as spirit. Every sovereign soul is kind of a triad being; comprised of three distinct aspects known as the Thinker, the Doer, and the Knower. When it comes time for another incarnation on earth, only the thinker & doer aspects incarnate into the physical body, the Knower aspect remains in the realm of permanence functioning as a sort of guide & lifeguard, and we call this our Higher Self.

Being as this is a universe of free will & destiny rather than that of a fixed fate; we humans often run smack up against the universal law of unintended consequences as the energy connections come back around to bite us in the ass…otherwise known as karma. Let’s say you spent an incarnation as someone who did violence to others, your karma then would be to live another incarnation on the receiving end of violence, so your soul has the experience of both perspectives. If on the other hand you lived a life of always putting the needs of others before your own; in another life, your needs would all be met quite easily. These days we know the same energy by other names, like poetic justice, or what goes around comes around but regardless what label you put on it, karma always prevails.
