How the “Syrian rebels” really feel

How The “Syrian Rebels” Really Feel About “Friendly” US Airstrikes

(excerpt)

More importantly, as Reuters reported, Dempsey said that the endgoal is “to recapture lost territory in eastern Syria”. Territory, which as we reported in July, amounts to 35% of Syria’s landmass and includes most of its oilfields. And sure enough, the territory would be preserved for the exclusive use of the “rebels”, or the group of Islamists from whose ranks none other than ISIS arose over the past year. And since the rebels couldn’t care one way or another, this is merely a way for the US to say that whatever Syrian territory is “liberated” from ISIS presence, it will be disposed of as the US sees fit, with the only decisions being whether to grant it to Qatar or Saudi Arabia.

In the meantime, things on the propaganda front are going form bad to worse. Recall the Nusra front – the extreme wing of the “rebels” that the US is allegedly supporting? Well as Haaretz just reported, “the al Qaida-linked Nusra Front on Saturday denounced U.S.-led air strikes on Syria, saying they amounted to a war against Islam and vowing to retaliate against Western and Arab countries that took part.”

*US Bombed ‘Empty Buildings’ in Airstrikes on ISIL in Syria

“15-20 days before the airstrikes, (ISIL) buildings were evacuated, and fighters then mixed in with the local population”.

*French President Hollande Says ‘ISIS Terror Caused by Global Warming’

(excerpts)

At the UN in New York, Hollande insistently claimed, even passionately claimed that global warming has driven millions of persons from their previously stable lives, making them more receptive to Islamic, or Crony Islamic terrorism. Hollande traced a direct link between global warming (now called “climate change”) and terrorism.

One estimate given by a French expert on global terrorism was that at its peak of power before 2005, al Qaeda had a “war chest” of 200 – 500 million US dollars, but the Islamic State, today, already has $2 to $3 billion in its own treasure chest. It can now buy more mercenary fighters.

This “surprise” is much less surprising than the fantastic claim, by Hollande at the UN, that “climate refugees” are swelling the ranks of terrorist movements, not only in the Middle East but also in Africa.

The revenues of the Islamic State are no surprise at all. Spy satellite surveillance of the Syria-Iraq-Turkey border region is supposedly unable to see ISIS oil tanker truck convoys shipping stolen oil from Syria into Turkey on a round-the-clock basis for at least the past three months, sold at prices as low as $33 – $40 a barrel. This oil and the road tanker trucks is supposedly “invisible” !

Russia Holds Massive Military Drill: 155,000 Troops, 4,000 Tanks, 632 Aircraft, 84 Ships

And the commentary from RIA:

The recent large-scale military exercise in Russia’s Far East, Vostok-2014, demonstrated that the degree of combat preparedness in Russian troops has risen, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said Tuesday.
The minister said that although “final conclusions are yet to be made,” the troops involved have demonstrated efficient command and “a better degree of combat preparedness.”
Shoigu said that the Vostok-2014 exercise is nearly complete. “This large-scale event of operational and combat training of the Eastern Military District was a logical continuation of an unannounced combat readiness check carried out on the orders of the Supreme Commander Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin,” the minister said.
Addressing the servicemen who distinguished themselves in battle maneuvers in Cape Skalistii, Shoigu said: “You have actually demonstrated great skill, professionalism and the ability to ensure the military security of the Russian Federation in the eastern region.”

The Vostok-2014 strategic military exercise in the Eastern Military District is taking place from September 19 to 25. The exercise was preceded by unannounced combat readiness checks.

A few days ago I saw a headline: “The Impending Race War.” I have no idea what angle the article was coming from because I didn’t read it. ‘Watch what you consume’ has become my motto with regard to information, because the stuff piles up and affects me emotionally, mentally and spiritually.

No matter what the article says, whose agenda is the headline pumping anyway? We’re already being told who to be afraid of, who’s trying to take our scraps, who’s planning to behead us and what disease to watch out for next. Now we’re being told what war we are going to engage in, with our neighbor?

We do have the capacity to direct our own thinking. So, I’ll offer some thoughts about the ‘not impending race war’. We have a choice about this one. While we might not be able to stop them from going off and fighting the latest manufactured enemy, in search of resources, and total control, at Israel’s bidding… we can stop the heinous notion of fighting amongst ourselves.

Tracking the Crack in the Universe

‘Saturn Devouring His Son’ – a painting by Spanish artist Francisco Goya.

Blowing the Whistle, Chpt. 5: Tracking the Crack in the Universe (Loosh 101)

(excerpts)

Who would make a world like this? Was it truly a God of love?

According to much evidence, it wasn’t. The world was created by something else. Or if it was created by the loving God our hearts insist exists, then creation has been tampered with by someone else so merciless that it barely resembles the original divine vision. The biological universe is controlled by the law that to live we must take life or die. That is sinister. Something there is that makes us have to eat, that makes us age and disintegrate. This is the “something wrong with the world,” the crack in the universe. Knowledge of it works “like a splinter in the mind, driving you mad,” quoting “The Matrix.” Yet awakening to the truth of our predicament is the first step toward radical change. Only radical change can possibly right the fundamental flaw woven into physical creation.

And how well-woven it is. Not only does violence wind through the lives of all Earth life like the fibers of a time-bomb attached to a victim. It reaches out into space, where supernovas implode, collapsing millions of stars along with all living beings on all their attendant planets. Death and devouring are so pervasive most people can’t conceive of a world without them, or if they can conceive it, they label the concept preposterous. Yet quantum physics shows that matter is nothing but atoms: emptiness vibrating. Emptiness does not die and neither does the energy it oscillates. So why must bodies die that are made of up of these things?

Is it insane to think that humans can beat the system? That we could make a choice to stop the activities that supply our up-line with fuel? That we could minimize – even stop – our own refueling from the life force of creatures lower than us on the food chain? Is it madness to think that our bodies, made of undying energy, could themselves not have to die, that we might learn to live on the power of infinite consciousness, which we can access within ourselves, being part of it?

While some may call that madness, I prefer it to the world I see around me. I certainly prefer it to death. I prefer it to loss of my dear ones, and to sickness and poverty. The greatest experiment mankind can engage in is mastery of the principles of freedom, creation, abundance, and immortality. We’re wearing body suits that in 70-some years of use are programmed to self-destruct. What could be more important than changing that programming?

In the Bhagavad Gita, Lord Krishna warns: “He who does not follow the wheel thus set revolving lives in vain.” The wheel is the cycle of birth and death, karma and retribution, human sacrifice and divine blessing. To rebel against this system is to fail in our life purpose as defined by those who say they are our creators and gods. But surely life was meant to be more than dinner for the next rung up on the food chain. If “living in vain” means breaking out of that, I’m all for that kind of failure.

Anti-war view of Scottish independence

September 18, 2014

Comedian Frankie Boyle gives his anti-war reasons for an independent Scotland

Uploaded by Stop the War Coalition

(partial transcript)

“Scotland would no longer have to invade places like Afghanistan for American interests. . . . I don’t support America’s wars. I don’t even think they are wars. They’re one-way traffic, mass-murder. There’s never been a time when a shepherd has beaten a helicopter.

You never switch on the news to see ‘A shock result in Afghanistan today when a missile was destroyed by a wedding.’ Because not only will America go into your country and kill all your people. But what’s worse I think is they’ll come back twenty years later and make a movie about how killing your people made their soldiers feel sad. Oh boo hoo hoo. Americans making a movie about what Vietnam did to the soldiers is like a serial killer telling you what stopping suddenly for hitchhikers did to his clutch.”

*Timmermans blames Russia for ISIS problem

At the Iraq Summit in Paris yesterday, Dutch Foreign Affairs Minister Frans Timmermans outed strong criticism against Russia for doing too little to aid global actions against the rise of the Islamic State (IS) in Syria and Iraq, according to the Algemeen Dagblad.

The AD writes that Minister Timmermans specifically pointed to Russia as the reason why the efforts to contain the growth of the terrorist movement has not been successful.

“If Russia had not continuously blocked the Security Council at the moment the action was necessary, we would not now have an IS problem”, the AD quotes Timmermans as saying.

The Summit pulled together 30 countries and organizations to discuss the necessary following strategy against the actions of IS.

According to the AD, Timmermans’ Russian colleague Sergei Lavrov said before the talks that IS should have been stopped earlier. Timmermans replied that Russia is the one who made action from the Security Council impossible, and holds Moscow accountable for a large part of the rise of ISIS in the Arabic region.

*“ISIS” is Merely a Backdoor to Ousting Assad. Here’s WHY & HOW…

“ISIS” is obviously an excuse to bomb Syria, as a back door attempt to oust Assad by providing air support for the faltering Free Syrian Army. Russian diplomacy foiled the first neoconservative push to bomb Syria last year.

We’re told by our government and media that we’ve been shown “beheading” videos. That’s not true. If you look hard enough online, you can find the RAW “beheading” videos. But in NONE of the three “beheading” videos (Foley, Sotloff, and Haines) does it show a head being cut off. As “Jihad John” ostensibly starts to saw their necks with his knife, the video fades to black. When the video comes back on, it shows a “headless body” with the purported head of the victim resting on the back.

It reminds me of the alleged Saddam Hussein “hanging” video. NOWHERE did it ever show Saddam hanging. It showed him with the noose around his neck, then the trap door opens and he falls through. BUT THEN THE VIDEO AGAIN GOES BLACK! When the video comes back, we see the ostensibly lifeless body of Saddam laying on the floor with the noose around his neck.

Seeing a pattern?

And where’s the video of the raid that allegedly killed Bin Laden?

It’s amazing that we can be TOLD what we are actually SEEING with our own eyes, and have our own observation be “overridden” by what our government & media tell us.

Edward Bernays would be proud.

The purpose of the fake beheadings is to sway public opinion to support action in Syria — a back door to overthrowing Assad; the first effort being thwarted by clever Russian diplomacy last year.

And don’t assume that the President or Congress are behind this. It’s much deeper. Powerful interests (whose bidding our politicians do; namely Israel & Saudi Arabia) want Assad removed.

Incidentally, the war in the Middle East is against SHI’A Islam, the House of Saud’s mortal enemy. Look whom ISIS is attacking — Shi’a-ruled countries — Syria & Iraq, with Iran being the ultimate prize, eventually; especially since the American public wasn’t buying the neocons’ lies and push to directly bomb Iran over the last 7 or 8 years. So Syria is a back door to Iran, as “ISIS” is a back door to Syria (Assad).

America doesn’t get its oil from Saudi Arabia, but much of the rest of the world does. And where do the Saudis invest their massive oil profits? Not in Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia invests its oil fortune in the U.S. economy. And currently we’re more desperate than ever for that investment. THAT’s the “relationship” between the U.S. & KSA. As with China, the U.S. desperately needs that massive Saudi investment into our debt-ridden, non-producing (except the Defense industry), faltering economy.

Remember a little over a year ago, the media said the U.S. was going to train the FSA (Free Syrian Army) in Jordan? It’s my contention that we armed and trained “ISIS” in the eastern desert of Jordan. And it wouldn’t surprise me if it was Blackwater/ Xe/ Academi (whatever they’ve changed their name to this week) who did the training.

How is ISIS funded? Where do they get their oil? Their arms? How do they manage logistically? Supply lines, etc.?

Of course we’re told they stole U.S. weaponry from Iraqi Army bases in northern Iraq, and that they robbed banks in Mosul (lol). How convenient. Now no one will raise an eyebrow when they see “ISIS” in humvees and shooting M-16s, and not question their funding.

If “ISIS” is as we’ve been told, why didn’t we bomb the holy hell out of them as they drove south from Mosul along the highway toward Baghdad in one, long convoy. We’ve been shown those photos by the media. I’m sure those photos were meant to elicit a feeling of desperation and fear in the American public, but to any thinking, rational, logical person it begged the question: Why aren’t we bombing that “ISIS” convoy like we bombed the retreating Iraqi Army in 1991 on the highway from Kuwait back to Iraq?!

Why? For the same reason “Pentagon lawyers” shut down Able Danger after Lt. Col. Shaffer’s team identified Mohammed Atta and several other “terrorists” in 2000. For the same reason western intelligence knew of Bin Laden’s 10-day stay for medical treatment at the American Hospital in Dubai in July 2001.

And that reason is: Why would the U.S. eliminate the very boogeyman it created? That boogeyman is needed to serve it’s psychological purpose as scapegoat.

Saudi anti-Christian sweep prompts calls for US involvement

(excerpt)

Dozens of Christians arrested at a prayer meeting in Saudi Arabia need America’s help, according to a key lawmaker who is pressing the State Department on their behalf.

Some 28 people were rounded up Friday by hard-line Islamists from the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice in the home of an Indian national in the eastern Saudi city of Khafji, and their current situation is unknown, according to human rights advocates.

“Saudi Arabia is continuing the religious cleansing that has always been its official policy,” Nina Shea, director of the Washington-based Hudson Institute’s Center for Religious Freedom, told FoxNews.com. “It is the only nation state in the world with the official policy of banning all churches. This is enforced even though there are over 2 million Christian foreign workers in that country. Those victimized are typically poor, from Asian and African countries with weak governments.”

In Friday’s crackdown, several Bibles were confiscated, according to reports from the Kingdom.

Rep. Frank Wolf, R-Va, told FoxNews.com he will press the U.S. ambassador in Riyadh and the State Department to assist the arrested Christians.

“I hope our government will speak up,” said Wolf, adding that the anti-Christian raid was not surprising given that the Saudi regime “did not want our soldiers to wear crosses during the Desert Storm” operation in 1991 to stop Iraqi jingoism.

*WW-III Prelude: German Leopard-2 Tanks In Ukraine.

German tank batallion has not been declared as part of “Rapid Trident” exercise. Total amount of participants – 1100 from Azerbajdzhan, Cananda, Georgia, Germany, Moldova, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Romania, England, US contingent alone consist of 200 soldiers. Thus 700 strong German tank batallion deployed and driven under its own power across 3 countries leave no room for imagination.
